[Aikido] Tournament

Dear VAC,

      Just a reminder that we are gonna have the intra-club tournament on
Friday, 5/7 at 2pm. We're gonna be having random pairs sparring in
tanto randori like we did at the Ohio tournament. The person with
the most points and the least penalties will win the match and
advance to the next round. There will also be a semi-finals round
and a finals round. The winner of the tournament will get a prize
and a surpise (or is is a surprise prize? someting like that...)
     Oh yea, please be prepared for your belt tests because Sean will be
testing us right after. Everyone please try to make it to the
tournament and if you can't try to meet at the Dutch at 6:00pm so we
can have an end-of-year aikido gang dinner! I think this should start
a tradition for the future generations of VAC, instead of just
beating each other up ;-)
    Other things of importance, Saturday 5/8 at 6:00pm outside Kendrick we
will be having a barbeque in honor of Shishida sensei. Everyone PLEASE
come to this. Since everyone knows what a barbeque is so I won't
elaborate on the details but it does involve free food, drinks and a
fun time.
    One more thing, if you hadn't gotten a t-shirt yet and paid for it, we
will be bringing it to the practices, or if it's more convenient, stop
by my rm at Cushing 118 to pick it up (alas, we don't have office
space).
