[Aikido] sweet Ohio trip

So far there are 7 cool people going to ohio and that means that there are 5
more spaces in the 12 person van. Just 5 more chances to be one of the cool
people. We will be sleeping in the dojo so bring a sleeping bag or some
sleeping gear. Here is a brief tentative schedule (I am especially excited
about Chris Parkerson).


Friday, March 2:
5 pm - 7 pm		Black Belt Tests
7 pm - 9 pm		San Kata Review
			(What we are looking for.)

Saturday, March 3:
8 am - 10 am		4 Easy Ways to Improve Your Forward Throwing
Techniques 
				Guest Aiki Instructor Chris Parkerson
10 am - 12 noon	Making Kata Real
				Moe Stevens
12 noon - 1 pm	Lunch
1 pm - 5 pm		Randori Tips & Tricks
				Manny Vargus
			(Includes practice rounds of
			 both Tanto and Toshu to
			 instruct Players, Referees &
			 Scorekeepers. We must be ready
			 to host the Internationals being 
			 held in Vandalia in August 2007!)

Sunday, March 4:
9 am - 12 noon	Katas for Competition
				Moe Stevens & Others
			(Specific tuning for Competing in,
			 and Judging, San or Junanahon Kata.)



About Chris Parkerson:
 
Mr. Parkerson has practiced both hard and soft martial arts for 35 years.  A
former Federal Law Enforcement Officer and 15 year bodyguard, Mr. Parkerson
has taught defensive tactics and strategies to a wide range of groups in
both the private sector and professional communities.  Mr. Parkerson's
primary goal is to demystify and simplify the mysterious parts of
traditional arts such as Aiki Jujitsu, Ken Jitsu and Tai Chi Chuan by
focusing on the principles of movement rather than specific techniques.  Mr.
Parkerson currently teaches an integrated system of Bugei arts in closed
door classes.
 
Mr. Parkerson holds the following martial ranks:
 
6th degree of Black Belt - Kenpo Karate (Grand Master Parker Linekin)
4th degree of Black Belt - Ju Jitsu (Colonel Mark A. MIles, U.S. Army -
