Jim Challey, "Einstein and the Photoelectric Effect: How Light Got  
Quantized. Or Not."

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Einstein's seminal 1905 papers,  
this lecture will focus on how problematic the idea of quantized  
light was to Einstein himself, as well as to just about everyone else  
at the time.
