Hi all,

Our end-of-the-year annual showcase is FRIDAY at 7 in the ROSENWALD, CDF 109. There will be delicious Rossi's subs afterwards! Invite all your friends to the facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=198672946836181

Again, everyone who has submitted a film gets a free t-shirt -- and also, we decided to give all of our Vassar Filmmakers seniors free t-shirts, too, as a going-away gift. Everyone else who wants one, they're $15. We also still have our beautiful shot glasses (with Audrey Hepburn, Alex from Clockwork Orange, and Edward Scissorhands on them) for $5 if you want them...otherwise, we'll be selling them again next year. Seniors! This is your last chance.

On to important stuff...For those of you showing your projects, I have several things I need from you.

1. Information about your film, for a program. (Title, Total Running Time, and Director/writer/any cast and crew you wish to thank.)

2. Your film itself.

Here are Tim's exporting guidelines:

That's what I always use. Make sure to note the resolution - 853 x 480 
if they shot widescreen, 640 x 480 - and to check "de-interlace" in the 
"Size" menu. Otherwise, vimeo is the beacon of truth in terms of good 
conversion. Go for .movs using the settings that they recommend and then 
bring the exported file on a harddrive (or a computer - I'll bring a 
harddrive to copy stuff over if need be).If they have any problems, call 
me up at 609-610-6055. We'll get you sorted right out.

I should have everybody's files by 8PM on Thursday so that we're ready 
to go on Friday.
