WANTED: Director of Photography, Camera Assistant, Editor and Assistant Editor 

A local Dutchess Country production team is seeking a Cameraperson for a short film documentary to begin shooting within one month. Also seeking film editor and production assistants for shoot days. 

The documentary is an educational based film supporting the many services of a local “no kill” animal care facility. This is a non-profit organization. The purpose of the film is to educate the community of available services, and encourage donations as well as volunteers to assist at the facility 

This is a volunteer position with the possibility of grant funding in the future. 

The ideal individual should have a sample of work to submit for consideration, their own transportation and equipment, a flexible schedule on mostly evenings and weekends, that lives in the Dutchess County area (preferably 10-20 miles of the city of Poughkeepsie) 

Perfect opportunity for a student filmmaker, or to add community service credit to your resume! 

Submissions deadline: February 6, 2012 

Shooting schedule begins within two weeks of submission. Approximately 4-6 hours shoot days, 2 times / per month for three months.
