[VCFilmmakers] VC Filmmakers are invited to an exclusive workshop - RSVP by Thursday

Dear VC Filmmakers,

*Two exciting film opportunities!: *

*1) EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP WITH JOHN LEGUIZAMO *

Professor Slattery-Quintanilla has extended an invitation to VC filmmakers
for a *workshop with John Leguizamo* on *Thursday**,* from* 2-4pm in
Rosenwald.* During the workshop, students will be watching junior scene
exercises and talking about revision, so it will be pretty focused on
student work, but VC filmmakers members are welcome to observe. There is a
break at 3pm so students can come in or leave at that time if necessary.

If you are *interested in attending* the workshop, please *RSVP* to
Professor Slattery-Quintanilla at shslatteryquintanilla at vassar.edu. You
must RSVP before Thursday!

*2. A CONVERSATION ON LATINO/A REPRESENTATIONS IN THE MEDIA *
5pm on Thursday in the Students' Building
This is a public event, but tickets are required. See attachment for
details and a description of the event.
