24 Hour Film Festival Parameters:


Start time: Saturday October 3rd at 10am

End Time: Sunday October 4th at 10am


No film should be longer than 3 minutes in length unless it REALLY needs to
be longer. You are free to make a film about any subject, in any style you
so choose. However, each team will get a specific camera angle, movie
quote, and a piece of music from a film that all must be incorporated into
each team’s respective film. Please feel free to ask any questions.


Team 1:

Camera Angle: Dutch/Canted Angle

Movie Quote: “See you at the party, Richter!” (from *Total Recall*)

Music: “Howard the Duck Theme” (from *Howard the Duck*)


Team 2:

Camera Angle: Extreme Wide Shot

Movie Quote: “Iced that guy – to cone a phrase!” (from *Last Action Hero*)

Music: “Telescope” by Pino Donaggio (from *Body Double*)


Team 3:

Camera Angle: 30-Second Tracking Shot (make Brian De Palma proud!)

Movie Quote: “It’s Calendar Time! Calendar Time for Buddy” (from *Kill Bill*
)

Music: “Profondo Rosso” by Goblin (from *Deep Red*)


Team 4:

Camera Angle: Smeared Lens

Movie Quote: “You bring the dip, and I’ll bring the Dostoyevsky!” (from
*Condorman*)

Music: “William Tell Overture” by Walter Carlos (from *A Clockwork Orange*)


Team 5:
Camera Angle: Centered Shot (make Wes Anderson proud!)

Movie Quote: “It isn’t much, but it’s better than nothing in this cockeyed
caravan!” (from *Sullivan’s Travels*)

Music: “To Sir With Love” by Lulu (from *To Sir With Love*)


Team 6:

Camera Angle: POV Shot

Movie Quote: “Badges! We Don’t Need No Stinking Badges!” (from *The
Treasure of the Sierra Madre*)

Music: “Taxi Driver Theme” by Bernard Herrmann (from *Taxi Driver*)
