This <span style="color:#ff0000">Wednesday</span>, seniors will hold auditions for their 327 final projects on the <span style="color:#ff0000">second floor of the Vogelstein(CDF)</span>! <br />

<br />

If you have any interest in acting, I strongly encourage you to go out and audition.<br />

6 films will be casting, you can check out the roles and films in the forwarded email. <br />

<br />

My film is called <em>Low Rumble</em>, if you think you sound right for any of the roles listed in the poster please stop by!</div>

<div><b>Synopsis</b>: Near Sighted is a fun, colorful, experimental film about sight and the senses.</div>

Cornelia goes for a routine eye exam and finds herself swept into a fantastical<br />

world where seeing may not be believing.

<div><b>Synopsis:</b> <span style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">When Sierra moves in with her more successful boyfriend Ken, she begins to hear music playing from the basement. Throughout the story, she learns more about the secrets of the house and Ken himself.</span></div>

<div>- Sierra (22) - Sierra Rawls is an under-appreciated music composer who is sick of only picking up low-brow jobs in her career.</div>

<div>- Ken (27-35) - Ken Bridgeton puts on the airs of an affluent person while hiding his secrets behind smiles, wealth, and passion.</div>

<div>- Chelsea (27-35) - Chelsea, an airhead with a million-dollar smile, wants nothing more than to situate herself next to other successful people.</div>

<div>- Brian (27-35) - Brian cares deeply for his partner Chelsea and tends to follow her beck and call.</div>

<div><b>Synopsis: </b><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap"><font face="arial, sans-serif"> A young woman suffers extreme pain in her abdomen. At the hospital, her doctor insists that he can’t find anything wrong with her. She desperately tries to get the doctor to believe her pain.</font></span></div>

<div><b>Roles: </b></div>

<div>- Irma - <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial;white-space:pre-wrap">A young woman whose life has been brought to a standstill because of her body and health. Her illness isn’t diagnosed, and she questions her sense of reality while confronted with the possibility of death.</span></div>

<div>- Doctor Vavic (30+) - <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial;white-space:pre-wrap">Confronted with a case that throws his own sense of security in his profession and abilities, Doctor Vavic doubles down on his hegemonic authority to deal with an especially difficult patient.</span></div>

<div>- Alice Maisner - <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial;white-space:pre-wrap">She’s just beginning her career, and earnestly wants to help others. However, she doesn’t have the experience necessary to actually know how best to help.</span></div>

<div><b>Synopsis: </b>Five years after her daughter's suicide, a reclusive mother must confront the ghosts of her past when her TV set torments her.</div>

<div><b>Roles:</b></div>

<div>- Mona (mid-50s) - female, reclusive, hysteric, afraid of the skeletons in her closet</div>

<div>- Ava (18-23) - female, anxious, thick eyeliner, stubborn, chronically self-isolating</div>

<div>- Peter (18-23) - male, peacemaker, perfectionist, thinks he's got it together but</div>

doesn't, should go to therapy

<div><b><u>Four Hands</u></b></div>

<div><b>Director:</b> Sarah Fakler</div>

<div><b>Synopsis: </b><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial;white-space:pre-wrap">As pianist Stella practices for her first solo concert, she struggles with pressure from Alma, her mother, and agent, as well as the physical limitations of her small hands. Stella turns to unorthodox methods and her own homemade tools to alter her hands. As she takes increasingly drastic measures, Stella becomes more detached from her world- and absorbed into another.</span></div>

<div><b>Role: </b></div>

<div><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Arial;white-space:pre-wrap">-Stella - a disciplined perfectionist. who wants to live up to her mother's expectations. She lives for performing on the piano and is motivated by the connection she feels sharing music with her audiences as well as the composers of the music she plays. Stella finds comfort in an odd, supernatural relationship with the piece’s composer, Robert Schumann.</span></div>
