Hi everyone!
I think it'd be fantastic for us to be involved at All College Day. It sounds like Flora already has some great ideas. I know everyone's probably pretty busy right now, but maybe we could set a time to meet early next week that might work for most of us. (I know Kim suggested today, but I got too behind with emails to get to that fast enough and I didn't see any other responses.) It might be easiest to arrange for sometime late afternoon so we don't conflict so much with classes. Thoughts?
Also, I'm not sure if anyone has been thinking about potential speakers for the spring, but I know of an accomplished, interesting (and interested!) candidate named Dr. Eve Slater (class of '67) and she currently works at Pfizer. Here's a link to her bio. Let me know what you think!

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello women in science and math, and those who support them!
The group has been a little slow to get things going this year, but I
think that this year's All College Day might be a good thing to
consider. The theme is perfect: "Be the change"
You probably got the email but I'm including it here. Let's have
a meeting and do this thing!
BE THE CHANGE
The 8th Annual
ALL COLLEGE DAY
Wednesday, February 20
The Campus Life Resource Group (CLRG) invites you, your organization,
office or committee to participate in the afternoon campus community
event on All College Day.
We invite table displays and exhibits of Vassar projects,
partnerships, and collaborations relating to this year's theme --- BE
THE CHANGE. We chose this theme because we believe there are many
examples of people taking the initiative to be a part of the change
process. We also want to encourage this spirit within the Vassar
community.
Is there a project, effort, program, etc., that you'd like the campus
to know about---or for which you would like more people to join?
This event will take place in the College Center and Villard Room
from 3pm-6pm on Wednesday, February 20. There will also be short
performances and refreshments.
Please let us know by Monday, February 4th if you are interested in
hosting a table or exhibit at this event. We will provide the space
and a table. We ask that you think of creative and interactive ways
to highlight the day's theme in sharing what your office or group has
to offer.
Space is limited. To reserve a table, please email us at
allcollegeday at vassar.edu, or call Gail Beckwith-Ecker in the Campus
Life Office at Ext. 5426.
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with others on campus as
several hundred students and employees participate in this and other
All College Day events. A full schedule for the day will be
announced soon.

Thanks,
Campus Life Resource Group
