Happy FAL*L *FWA!!!

We have some very fun news to share with you today! First, we'd like to
announce our new First-Year Rep! Her name is *(drumroll pleassseeeeee)* Gwynne
Smith!!! Congratulations Gwynne, we are VERY excited to have you on our
board. And thank you to those who filed and voted, we greatly appreciate it!

(ALSO remember that *all of our meetings are open to the general body!* If
you have a thought to share with the board, we meet every Saturday at 11
a.m. using this zoom link <https://vassar.zoom.us/j/95332619757>! Pop in
with questions, comments, concerns, compliments, or just for a good ol'
time!)

Next, FWA would like to announce this semester's spooktacular Special Event:
*A Villains Masquerade!*

*Be Prepared**!* FWA has an event that we want YOU to be a part of! In the
Dark of the Night, we will be having a Villains Masquerade filled with your
music videos! We are looking for villain/Halloween/spooky songs to
sing/dance to! Really anything you feel passionate about.

We’ve got Friends on the Other Side and know that the expertise of our
techies must be heard! We are hoping that this event will involve a few
Creative Zoom sessions where singers, costume designers, lighting
designers, set builders, dancers, etc. can discuss all the ways to make
their final videos even more amazing!



You are the Master of the House in this “participate as much as you want”
event because we know there’s a lot going on in the world right now. We
want this to be a fun creative outlet where you get to Spread a Little
Sunshine and meet (virtually) and create with other Vassar theater folks.

interested before the Last Midnight on Friday, October 2nd. We are looking
for everyone both on-campus and remote (singers, actors, dancers,
musicians, costume designers, filmographers, video editors, sound editors,
choreographers, set designers, anyone with a desire to do a little musical
theater!)

Get creative about what you want to do! The final product will be a
collection of villain songs/etc. set for a private Youtube Premier near
Halloween (date and time TBA). The video will be followed by a Zoom Costume
Party to get to know your fellow FWA general body and celebrate the
Halloween spirit.
