          Tea and Cookies at 3:45, Lecture begins at 4:00 PM

  This will be an informal series of demonstrations from the department
  collection, including viewing some new demonstration DVD's and playing
  with some of our new "toys".  Some old favorites will also be shown,
  including the famous "constant velocity" demonstration, the
  conservation of energy in a pendulum, the glowing pickle, and possibly
  some fun with liquid nitrogen.
