[VCFilmmakers] "The Art of Living Cooperatively" Web Series Auditions This Weekend!

Opportunity for all aspiring filmmakers!

Hello all!

I'm writing to tell you about an exciting new project on campus this
semester. "The Art of Living Cooperatively" is a student devised episodic 3
part web series that will explore the ideas of life and the individual at
Vassar.

The project will bring together film, drama, media studies and music
majors, as well as anyone interested in any of those areas (or anyone who
has no interest in these topics, but thinks this sounds cool and wants to
give it a shot.)

Each episode will be shot in a 10 day period during which the entire
episode will be created by the cast and crew. This project serves to mimic
what it is really like to make a television show, as well as giving people
the opportunity to develop new skills or continue working in areas in which
you already have experience. There will be a writers' room, storyboarding
meetings, table read throughs, shooting days, editing rooms, all
culminating in screenings of the finished product with talk backs by the
cast and crew.

Auditions in Rocky 308
Thursday September 18th, 6:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday September 20th, 10:30am-2:00pm

We are looking for:
ACTORS
WRITERS
DIRECTORS
EDITORS
PRODUCTION MANAGER
SOUND OPERATORS
LIGHTING OPERATORS

Please bring examples of your past work with you to the audition. We will
be auditioning anyone and everyone who is interested in working on the
show. Feel free to audition for as many positions as you like!

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! - If you have experience that's great. If you
don't but want to learn about any of these areas, this is the project for
you!
