[Aikido] Re: Picking up mats on April 10th

Hey everyone, 
Jun, I was just wondering what your e-mail address was. 
The GYM closes at 9:00 on Friday so we should try to get all the mats out before 8:30. 
They GYM closes at 8:00 on Saturday so we should try to get the mats back before 7:30.
(In case I forget, we also have to pick up the BLUE mats as the judo instructor requested it).

Marist won't be open during the weekend. So we are going to have to pick up the mats on Friday and return them Monday. Alan Kenney will let you know more.

Hey everyone,
We have a lot of things going on in April:
1) parents weekend: Saturday April 4.
2) Spring seminar series APRIL 11 ( see attachments)
3) FOCUS weekend April 18-20
4) Elections ( see constitution attached) 
5) Feedback

1) We will still have practice Saturday but parents might come to watch and participate. We will also be doing a demo.  

2) Our second seminar is on April 11 at the aula. I have attached the info. Invite your friends or people you know who are interested in exploring different martial arts. We need help setting up and getting the food. Contact me if you want to help. 

3)For next years perspective students, we will be doing a demo at UPCDC. We need volunteers. Yo can invite you friends and show off. 

4) Elections. I know its still early but we need a new exec board next year. Currently all positions up for grabs. If you would like to be more active or have great ideas you want to see implemented, please submit your name to me, lepinheiro at vassar.edu or see me. I have attached the constitution which specifies your duties. If you could also nominate other people you want to see heading the board.

Feedback:
Guys, if you have any complaints or would like to see things done differently. Let me know. 
My complaint: I would like to see you all come to Saturday practice (so I can beat you up) and in general coming more regularly.

Hey Guys,
As you are well aware, we are having our big Aikido conference this coming weekend: Nov 22(8-5:30), and 23(8-2:30). Make sure to plan ahead and keep these dates free. This is a great opportunity to learn and practice Aikido with some of the best instructors. 

Anyway, we are going to need help setting up. If you can, please come Friday, November 21, at 6:00 PM. Here the goal:
1) Bring the mats down to bay 1 and 2.
2) Set the mats up in bay 1 and 2.
3) Put the Aikido signs up. 
4) Other unanticipated stuff. 

In addition, we will be needing help on Sunday, to:
1) Bring the mats back up to the MPR. 

If you have any other questions, let me know. Also, on Saturday, we will be going to Castillo Espanol restaurant at 7:30, so keep that time free also. Come talk to me after practice, whenever you see me.
